Upcoming (and Past) Events

  • Pat, Nancilee, and Erica will be teaching art at the Green Country Chess Camp in Tulsa, Oklahoma the week of July 22nd. Chess campers may paint ornaments and tiles, make clay and polymer pieces, work with Model Magic, and other art projects. This will be the second year for the Bodine Pottery art classes at the Green Country Chess Camp. Nancilee Bodine has even made Green Country Chess Camp jewelry using Precious Metal Clay. The silver jewelry features the Green Country Chess Camp logo, and chess campers will see a demo on how the jewelry is made from the Precious Metal Clay.
  • We will be at the Pecan in Richton, MS, again this year the last weekend in September, the George Ohr Fall Festival (Biloxi) the first weekend in October, and the Peter Anderson Festival (Ocean Springs) the first weekend in November. We will be presenting a one man show for Gerrol Benigno the latter part of August/first part of September here at our studio. He has exceptionally fine jewelry, pottery, and paintings.
  • October 5 & 6, 2001, George E. Ohr Fall Festival, Biloxi MS. Nancilee will demo Precious Metal Clay at 3 p.m.
  • Sept 29 & 30 2001, Petit Collage, Pass Christian, MS. Pottery on display at Inn at the Pass.
  • Sept 29 & 30 2001, Mississippi Pecan Festival, Richton, MS Besides our booth and wheel throwing demos, the show features mule pulls, chainsaw artist, basket weavers, a dulciner maker, beauty contest, prettiest rooster, cloggers, train rides, buggy rides, live bluegrass and gospel music, and more.See Map
  • Events: Pit firing at Brandon's April 21st 2001, 4 P.M. 'til dark. Raku firing. Bring food, family, fun. Call the studio for directions.
  • April 7 & 8 2001, Pyromania in Lafayette-Nancilee demonstrates Precious Metal Clay techniques, and Pat works in the Raku area. Pyromania 2002 will be April 5, 6, & 7. Plan to be there.
  • "Art With a Southern Drawl" opens at the University of Mobile on April 1. Pat has two pieces accepted.
  • March 24 & 25 we will have a booth at Herb & Garden Fest in Ocean Springs, MS. Hours are 9 to 5 Saturday and 10 to 4 on Sunday. Sharing our booth will be Steve Shiver of Long Beach.
  • December 2-3, Annual Open House and Customer Appreciation Sale. 10am-6pm Saturday, noon-4pm Sunday.  Click  here for invitation allowing a 20% discount during Open House!
  • November 2000, Patrick was the winner of the Peter Anderson Memorial Award for Potters at the Ocean Springs Art Association's Annual Show.  The piece was purchased at the opening reception.
